Once approved, we schedule the work and begin preparation. The pool is drained and the existing surface is prepared for new finishes. This includes removing old tile, chipping damaged plaster, and preparing the substrate.

The renovation work typically follows this order: structural repairs first, then new tile installation, followed by coping, then plaster application, and finally deck work if included.

After the new plaster is applied, the pool is filled with water. This is a critical phase requiring careful chemical treatment over the first few weeks. We provide detailed startup instructions and monitor the water chemistry closely.

The entire process typically takes 2-6 weeks depending on scope. A simple resurface might be done in 1-2 weeks, while a complete renovation with new tile, coping, and deck can take 4-6 weeks.
